Agent's Comments
This historic gem stands as one of the oldest properties that remains standing on the Peninsula. Built in 1718 by John Bullock as part of a 2 building structure, this property has miraculously escaped wars, fires, earthquakes, and hurricanes. The exterior is mostly intact with the original imported brick and many of the interior finishes date back to the first period including the grand, spacious first-floor fireplace, exposed brick walls, doors, wide plank floors, and a total of three fireplaces. This unique and charming property was occupied as a storefront and also by the gallery of Elizabeth Verner O'Neill during her residency from 1938-1979. It is currently used as residential space and is zoned residential.
